Social Studies

I had my students do a wiki page on different parts of the brain and use those pages to color their own blank brain pictures
I had my students create a wikispace to post their "radio" podcasts that interviewed Plato, Aristotle and Socrates.

Science

The hippocampus.org website has tons of videos that would be great to demonstrate and summarize difficult concepts in biology. You can select the text book you use in class; so it makes it easy to align the concepts on the website with your instruction. Check out the vides under DNA Trascription and Translation. There are some nice analogy videos.

This is a website that is a short video of the poem...it's a good activator/summarizer for this poem...:)
